Peer review process

Peer reviewed manuscripts undergo full double-blind international reviewing process, in which:

- The manuscripts are sent to appointed reviewers to assess their quality and relevance to scope of the conference;
- The manuscripts are reviewed according to the following criteria:

   • Scientific and technical soundness
   • Originality of contributions
   • Organisation and clarity of the manuscript
   • Degree to which conclusions are supported
   • Degree to which the manuscript is compared to prior related literature

- The reviewers’ recommendations determine whether a manuscript will be accepted/accepted subject to change/subject to resubmission with significant changes or rejected;
- For manuscripts which require changes, the same reviewers are used to ensure that the quality of the revised manuscript is acceptable;
- The Chair of the Conference or Symposium reserves the right to refuse publication of any manuscript and to make suggestions before publication.
