The Australian Institute of High Energetic Materials (Institute) has been established to (i) undertake scientific research; (ii) organise workshops for intensive professional development of engineers; (iii) organise scientific conferences and symposia; and, (iv) provide professional advice in the field of high energetic materials and dynamics of self-sustainable ultrafast reactive systems as well as in the general engineering areas.  The Institute is engaged in an extensive network of international collaborations with leading scientific organisations and prominent individual scientists and engineers. The Institute publishes selected scientific papers and research reports in the Research Bulletins of the Australian Institute of High Energetic Materials.

Australian Institute of High Energetic Materials organises Australian and International Conferences and Symposia and Online Workshops for Intensive Professional Development.
